Neo Camelot

This was my senior collection at SFSU, and I worked tirelessly for months to make sure everything was cohesive, marketable, innovative, and functional. It was my first experience to come up with concepts, sketches, fabrics, patterns, construction, spec sheets, cost sheets, etc. It was a lot of work to produce my six look collection (and there was plenty of trial and error), but to see everything from start to finish was a very rewarding feeling. This collection was very much inspired by Arthurian legend, activewear, and the future. I pushed the envelope even further by using nude mesh to give my garments an interesting kind of sex appeal. I showcased this collection at the SFSU Spring Fashion Show Runway 2011: Enchantment at the San Francisco Design Center, where I got to bask in a moment of glory (which is every designer's dream). I even won "Best of Show in Garment Design 2011" at my department's senior showcase.
