Alvarado Mills is one of the most renowned dye houses in the San Francisco Bay Area. Many of their clients are very prominent local and national designers. They also have their own in-house collection, Ours, which I designed for. Ours targets a casual lifestyle that emphasizes intricate design details that surpass the latest trends in fashion. Along with other designers and sales representatives, we came up with color stories, concepts, fabrics to ensure a cohesive and marketable line of clothing for each season. Aside from designing, I communicated with overseas manufacturers by creating tech packs, linesheets and spec sheets, and held fittings so that designs fitted and were accurate. I also got to create lookbooks and ad campaigns with professional photographers for the company website and marketing purposes.
