I have learned a lot throughout my years of education. I have watched myself grow from a confused student to a working designer. The Apparel Design and Merchandising program at SFSU has helped me develop a good sense of self, and it's where I learned all the basic skills to produce apparel. I got to experiment with different styles and received constructive criticism in areas that needed improvement. Here are some assignments I did for my Basic Construction, Flat Pattern, Draping, Product Development, and Design Problems classes. Every one of these assignments has enriched my knowledge of designing for today. Outside of school, I've worked on many other projects. The thing is, fashion is not only my career, but it is also my hobby, so I like to make costumes, commissions, and things for charity. I find the creative process to be quite fulfilling.
